What happens if weather changes your helicopter flight?
If weather affects your Mauritius helicopter flight, the flight operator decides whether it can operate. We coordinate your booking and proposed alternatives with our flight partner. A revised departure time, an operational cancellation, disappointing visibility and your own decision to cancel are different situations, with different implications.

Let the operator make the operational decision
A weather app can help you plan your day, but it cannot establish whether a particular flight can operate safely. A rain icon is not a cancellation notice, and clear skies at your hotel are not confirmation that the flight will run.
We coordinate day-before confirmation and final meeting instructions. Conditions can still change afterwards, so follow the latest instructions rather than treating an earlier confirmation as a guarantee.
Check what a revised departure time changes
A proposed time change is not the same as a cancelled flight. Tell us about fixed commitments, including onward flights and booked activities, so the alternative can be checked against your day. Any replacement departure remains subject to availability and operational agreement.
Before accepting, request a written recap of the date, time, meeting instructions, circuit, party and any price difference. Keep the confirmation of what you agreed; a suggestion is not yet a completed booking change.
Handle an operational cancellation through Andeor
If the operator cancels, Andeor will coordinate the next steps under your booked offer’s current terms. This may involve checking another departure or date. A replacement depends on availability, while the applicable terms determine the financial outcome.
Give Andeor your remaining availability and explain whether another flight would still be useful. If you are leaving Mauritius soon, say so immediately rather than accepting a departure you cannot use.
Compare alternatives by circuit and departure point
We offer approximately 15-minute underwater waterfall circuits from Bel Ombre in private and shared formats, plus an approximately 35-minute shared circuit from the airport. Private bookings are priced per helicopter; shared bookings are priced per person.
If a different offer is proposed, check its current price and party limits rather than treating it as an automatic substitute. A change of departure point also changes where you need to meet. The airport sightseeing circuit returns to the airport; it is not an airport-to-hotel transfer.
Separate the flight from the view
The underwater waterfall off Le Morne is an optical illusion, and visibility is not guaranteed. A flight going ahead means the operator has decided it can operate; it does not promise that the illusion will be clearly visible.
A disappointing view is therefore different from an operational cancellation. If the view falls short of your expectations, explain your concern to Andeor so it can be considered under the booked offer’s terms.
Keep your cancellation distinct from the operator’s
If you choose to cancel because of the forecast, that is a guest cancellation, not an operator cancellation. Ask us to establish the flight’s status before deciding, and review the current terms attached to your booking.
Do not apply a general free-cancellation window to every helicopter experience. We can help clarify which conditions apply to your situation. Keep any agreed cancellation outcome in writing alongside the original booking and subsequent changes.
Your questions, answered
Should I still go to the meeting point if rain is forecast?
A forecast alone does not change your meeting instructions. Contact us for the flight’s current status and follow the latest confirmed instructions rather than assuming the flight is cancelled or heading to a different departure point.
Can Andeor coordinate ground transport after a time change?
Yes. We can arrange separate ground transfers and help coordinate them with a revised departure. Transport is not automatically included in the flight price or duration. The shared airport circuit specifically excludes hotel and land transfers.
What if the alternative departure no longer fits my itinerary?
Tell us which dates and times remain possible, or that none do. Andeor will coordinate the next steps under your booking’s current terms. Declining a proposed alternative does not, by itself, establish a refund entitlement.
