Its price therefore represents a different departure-and-duration option, not simply a longer version of the same booking. Compare it against your travel plans as well as the Bel Ombre flight total.

Calculate what your whole party will pay

For a shared flight, add the applicable fares for everyone travelling. If two passengers are charged the same fare, their flight total is twice that amount. For the private Bel Ombre circuit, use the published helicopter price, provided your party meets the listing’s limits.

Dividing the private fare by your actual passenger count gives a useful per-person comparison. Use the people travelling, not the aircraft’s theoretical capacity; passenger and baggage weights are also checked. Neither pricing format is automatically cheaper. A shared booking may suit a smaller party, while private use can be worth considering for a group that wants the aircraft to itself.

Account for ground transport without assuming an extra fee

The current shared airport sightseeing offer excludes hotel and land transfers. It is a round-trip aerial excursion, not an airport-to-hotel transfer, so its fare should not be treated as covering your onward hotel journey.

A helicopter journey between an airport, hotel or another venue needs a tailored quote rather than a sightseeing-fare comparison. Provide the actual origin and destination, date, party details and baggage information. Landing arrangements require operator approval, and not every hotel can be served.

We will help coordinate those arrangements and clarify the quote’s inclusions, including how any landing charges are treated. Landing fees should not be assumed either included in every transfer or added to every sightseeing product. Compare the quoted journey as a whole, without carrying over flight times or baggage allowances from another offer.

Keep special outings distinct from scheduled sightseeing

We require at least 36 hours before a scheduled departure under our current selling policy. Its team coordinates passenger details, operator arrangements, tickets and day-before confirmation. Payment alone does not establish that the operator e-ticket is ready; final meeting instructions govern the trip.

Can I count on a refund if my plans change?

Use the booked offer’s current cancellation terms when assessing the financial commitment. Guest cancellation and operator cancellation are distinct situations, and flights depend on weather and operational factors. Do not build your budget around an assumed free-cancellation window or guaranteed refund.

Does a higher fare guarantee a better seat or view?

No. Seat allocation is operational, so front or window seats cannot be promised, including on a private booking. The underwater waterfall off Le Morne is an optical illusion, and its visibility is not guaranteed. Compare fares for the service offered, not for a guaranteed photograph.
