What to bring for your Mauritius helicopter flight
Have your booking reference, final meeting instructions, any issued e-ticket and any requested identification ready. Pack lightly, secure personal items and supply accurate passenger and baggage details. Prepare for your specific booked departure rather than a generic helicopter checklist. Your final instructions determine where to meet, when to arrive and any flight-specific requirements.

In this guide
Keep your booking documents and final instructions ready
We handle booking and support, while our flight partner operates the aircraft. Our team coordinates passenger details, operator arrangements, tickets and day-before confirmation. A payment receipt or booking acknowledgement does not by itself mean the operator e-ticket is ready.
Keep your booking reference and final instructions accessible. Bring the identification requested for your booking, and check the confirmed meeting point and arrival instructions before setting off. Follow that timing rather than applying a universal check-in deadline. If your ticket or meeting details are still outstanding, Andeor will help resolve them.
Match your journey to the booked departure point
Check the departure shown on your booking. The published sightseeing choices are approximately 15-minute private or shared circuits from Bel Ombre, and an approximately 35-minute shared circuit from the airport. The airport flight returns to the airport; it is not a transfer to your hotel.
The current shared airport offer excludes hotel and land transfers. We can arrange a separate ground transfer to help you reach your departure point. Its cost and timing need to be agreed separately rather than treated as included in the flight price or duration. Coordinate your journey around the confirmed meeting instructions, not simply the advertised flight length.
Send accurate weights and flag individual requirements
Passenger and baggage weights are checked. Supply accurate details through the approved private booking channel, and tell us about changes before travel rather than waiting until check-in. Packing lightly does not remove the need to provide accurate baggage information.
If you are travelling with an infant, have a medical or accessibility consideration, or want to bring particular equipment, flag this during booking. These arrangements require case-specific operator confirmation. Andeor will coordinate the request so you can prepare around the arrangements confirmed for your party.
Pack modestly and keep personal items secure
Bring only what you need and identify larger bags or equipment in advance. Packing lightly is useful preparation, but it is not a substitute for baggage acceptance. What travels must match the arrangements confirmed for your flight. If you expect to arrive with hotel luggage, tell us during planning so baggage handling can be coordinated.
Keep loose personal items secure. Phones and cameras are subject to crew instructions, including whether and how they may be used. Follow the crew’s guidance before taking equipment out, and give the briefing your attention rather than trying to photograph the boarding process. Use any clothing guidance supplied for your booking rather than treating general travel advice as a universal flight rule.
Recheck the confirmation before you leave
Read the day-before confirmation rather than relying only on details saved when you paid. Flights depend on weather and operational factors, so final meeting instructions matter even after a booking has been made. Check that your passenger details, baggage information and transport plan still match the confirmed arrangements.
Seat allocation is operational, and front or window seats cannot be promised. Keep photography expectations flexible, and follow the crew briefing on arrival. If anything about your party or requirements has changed, let Andeor know so we can coordinate the necessary arrangements.
Your questions, answered
How early should I arrive for check-in?
Arrive at the time stated in your final meeting instructions. A generic advance-arrival rule should not replace those instructions. We can help coordinate a separate ground transfer around your confirmed reporting time.
Can I book on the day of the flight?
For the helicopter offers described here, Andeor’s current selling policy requires at least 36 hours before scheduled departure. This is Andeor’s booking lead time, not a check-in deadline or a universal operator rule. Availability still needs to be confirmed.
Can I use my phone or camera on board?
Phone and camera use is subject to crew instructions. Keep your device secure and follow the guidance given before using it. Flag larger or specialist equipment during booking so Andeor can coordinate case-specific acceptance.
