Helicopter filming and aerial photography in Mauritius
A production flight is different from taking photographs as a sightseeing passenger. We can coordinate a filming or aerial photography enquiry with our flight partner, which must assess the proposed operation. Begin with a production brief rather than assuming that a leisure ticket permits a custom route or specialist camera setup.

In this guide
Describe the images you need
Explain the project, intended locations, preferred dates and the purpose of the aerial footage. Distinguish essential shots from preferences and identify any fixed production deadlines. A clear brief helps the partner assess what can be proposed; it does not establish permission to fly a particular track or over a particular location.
List crew and equipment accurately
Provide the number of people, their roles and a practical equipment list. Include relevant dimensions and weights rather than describing a camera setup simply as small. Passenger and equipment arrangements require confirmation. Do not assume that mounts, open-door operation or specialist rigs are supported because filming is a service category.
Clarify permissions before scheduling the shoot
Ask which permissions and location arrangements the proposal depends on, and who is responsible for obtaining them. A helicopter quotation is not evidence that every approval has been granted. Drone permissions, property access and helicopter operations are separate questions; approval for one does not establish approval for another.
Build a quote around the actual production
Request a scope that identifies the proposed flight, crew arrangements, equipment acceptance and any separately arranged ground support. Clarify how time and changes are handled in that proposal. Do not use a sightseeing fare as a production rate or assume extra circuits, waiting time or repeat takes are included.
Keep operational and creative decisions distinct
The flight partner controls operational decisions. Weather, visibility and permitted access may affect the creative plan, so agree priorities and alternatives before committing the wider crew. Retain the approved brief and final instructions. A production booking cannot guarantee a particular image, light condition or unrestricted flight path.
Your questions, answered
Can I use a sightseeing ticket for a commercial shoot?
Describe the intended work to Andeor first. A leisure booking does not establish approval for a dedicated production operation or specialist equipment.
Are doors-off flights or camera mounts available?
This site does not establish those capabilities. They require specific assessment and written confirmation from the flight partner.
Does a quote include every filming permit?
Do not assume so. The proposal should identify required permissions, responsibilities and the status of approvals before the shoot is scheduled.
