Planning an airport-to-hotel helicopter transfer in Mauritius
An airport-to-hotel helicopter transfer in Mauritius starts with a tailored enquiry, not a fixed fare or flight time. We can coordinate the arrangement through our flight partner, subject to operational availability and approved landing access. Your first decision is whether the proposed route, baggage arrangements and any road connection suit your arrival. Review the quote before committing.

Choose a transfer rather than an airport sightseeing circuit
The published approximately 35-minute shared flight departing from the airport is a sightseeing circuit that returns to the airport. It excludes hotel and land transfers, so its duration is not a guide to your hotel journey.
That circuit suits travellers seeking an excursion from the airport, not transport to their accommodation. For an arrival transfer, Andeor needs your actual origin and destination to coordinate a separate, individually assessed arrangement through its flight partner.
Send your arrival and passenger details together
Provide your incoming airline, flight number, arrival date and scheduled arrival time, together with the hotel's full name and location. Include the number of adults, children and infants travelling, and identify any other dates or journeys you want considered.
Describe your luggage and any assistance needs or equipment at the enquiry stage. Accurate passenger and baggage weights are checked, so share those details through Andeor's approved private channels. A complete enquiry allows the arrival connection, landing access and passenger requirements to be considered together.
Establish where the helicopter can land
Not every hotel has an available helipad. Even where a landing area exists, access must be approved by the flight partner for the proposed transfer. Naming your hotel therefore does not, by itself, establish a direct helicopter connection.
The proposed arrangement should identify the approved arrival point and any remaining journey to the hotel. Where a road connection is needed, Andeor can arrange it separately. Its cost and timing need to be distinguished from the helicopter portion of the journey.
Plan luggage alongside the passenger journey
Passenger seats and baggage capacity are separate considerations. Give the number, dimensions and weights of your bags, including any bulky equipment, so acceptance can be assessed for the particular flight. There is no universal baggage allowance to apply to every transfer.
If luggage needs to travel by road, Andeor can coordinate separate ground transport. Have the luggage collection and hotel delivery arrangements addressed in the plan, including anything you need to keep with you. Road carriage is not automatically included in the helicopter price.
Review the whole quote before accepting
A useful quote concerns the complete proposed journey, not just a helicopter seat. Review the route, landing arrangements, accepted baggage and any ground connections, together with the price and what it covers. Landing fees and road transport must not be treated as included unless the quoted arrangement says so.
There is no fixed transfer fare or duration established by the supplied offers. Read the current terms attached to your booking, distinguishing guest cancellation from cancellation by the flight operator. Weather and operational factors can affect the flight.
Follow the final confirmation and meeting instructions
We coordinate arrangements with the flight partner, passenger details, tickets and day-before confirmation. Booking or payment alone does not establish that the operator's e-ticket is ready.
Use the final meeting instructions for where and when to meet. An airport transfer should follow its own confirmed arrangements, rather than the instructions for an airport sightseeing circuit. Keep Andeor informed of changes to your arrival so the onward plan can be reviewed.
Your questions, answered
How far ahead should I request the transfer?
Andeor's current selling policy requires at least 36 hours before a scheduled departure. This is a minimum, not a guarantee of availability. Enquire earlier where possible so landing access, baggage and any assistance arrangements can be assessed before you commit.
Can children or passengers needing assistance travel?
Eligibility, infant arrangements, accessibility suitability and equipment acceptance require case-specific confirmation from the flight partner. Tell us who is travelling and what support or equipment is needed so those requirements can be coordinated before booking.
What should I do if my incoming airline flight changes?
Contact us promptly with the revised flight details. We can coordinate a review of the onward arrangement with our flight partner. A replacement departure is not guaranteed; any revised plan depends on operational availability and the terms of your booking.
